KMO is a Georgia based 501c3. 100% of the funds raised through the 2011 KMO Charity Golf Tournament will go towards helping the people of Kenya. This means that your hard earned dollars are not going to pay anyone’s salary but directly to fund projects that are changing lives.
KMO was born out of opportunity. Remote villages throughout the world face hardships most of the modern world will never understand. While we worry about how to pay the bills, what car to buy, which color shirt we want to wear, the people of underdeveloped nations are praying for the basic necessities of life. Food, water, and shelter are seen as a precious commodity. KMO’s purpose is to deliver hope to the people of Kenya, to show them they are not forgotten and that they too can live a life without worrying how to feed their children or how they are going to get enough water for the family to survive. We do this not by providing a handout but by giving a hand up. Our goal is to provide clean water, medical and dental care, emergency relief, and discipleship for Kenyan communities to develop infrastructure for a sustainable, healthy future.
